Tonight I couldn't fish in my catfish hole very well at all because the snakes wouldn't stay off my cut bluegill! I saw literally hundreds of water snakes swarming everywhere, and whenever I would cast in the water about 5 of them would dart over and start dragging my bobber around. Eventually my bobber would take off and I would set the hook and have a huge snake on my line. Boy those things can fight better than I thought! I caught a bunch of em. I was able to take the one's that actually got hooked instead of just holding onto the bait off the hook without killin em, which was quite a task.

    So, fishing report:

Catfish, slow on cut bait, nightcrawlers, and live perch.

    Bluegills, average on nightcrawlers.

    Black Bass, (who cares?)

    Snakes, AMAZING on cut bait.
