Just got the first fishing report from the MDC...for those who haven't seen the snagging info...
    for Truman...

Fish were scattered through out the area from the Marmaton (above Taberville) all the way down to Talley Bend – there was no real concentration of fish, they were scattered throughout this entire area. Most of the fish and snaggers and your best bets are:
    • Between Horseshoe Bend (just above Talley Bend Access) and Weaubleau Creek.
    • Between Osceola and Monegaw Springs area above the Roscoe Access.
    • Between Taberville and the "cut."
    for LOZ...
Fish were scattered through out the area from Highway 65 Bridge (MM89) all the way down to MM49 – there was no real concentration of fish, they were scattered throughout this entire area. Most of the fish and snaggers and your best bets are:
    • Between MM55 and MM49 (Coffman Bend area).
    • Between MM65 and MM60 (Brown Bend area).
    • Between MM77 and MM75 and some more around MM71
    • Between MM89 and MM79 (just below Highway 65 to below Dome Hole)
if you want to see the whole report go here

Read an article this week in the Daily Oklahoman. The article was on snagging spoonbill's on the Neosho River, by Miami Oklahoma. Things are going great guns. The only thing in the article that really surprised me was the ODW statement that most of the snaggers were from out-of-state -Kansas and Missouri. As Bob Barker said... "come on down".
