Last night, caught 2 channels in about 1 hour at the lake. North of W Bridge, back in the second cove on the west side, using wicked sticky, in about 4 feet of water. Not a bad way to spend an hour on your b-day. No real size, nothing on shad but did have some good hits.

    Spent most time targeting crappie.
8 more keeper crappie along the old slough fence lines in about 24 feet of water. Northwest of the old trimble dam. Numerous short ones. Minnows.

Going to western KS to in-laws, but will be fishing Cedar Bluff near Hays Ks. Last time I went there it was pretty productive. Good size channels in that lake and lots of walleye that you pick up when fishing with worms.

We still need to go out. Is your car back yet? Let me know. Only about 20-25 minutes from ya!

Glad to hear you had a good night. Hopefully the fish are hungry this week. good luckfishing in KS.
