i have broken my personael best for smallest flathead today
my daughter and i went to a local diversion dam today trying to catch bullheads and for some reason we caught more channels and flatheads than bullheads
every thing we caught was 1lb or smaller felt like i casted into a catfish nursery ha ha

That's awsome Gus, I have never caught a flathead that small. On my last trip I was fishing for bait and caught alot of channels that size.

can you use the bullheads and small channels just the same as goes for the flathead...When they are small like that will the bigguns still chomp a similiar size flatty or channel? or does the bullhead take the cake? And ofcourse if the laws in your areas allow it only please!!!

they might but i only use bullheads i leave the baby flatheads alone and the baby channels alone
i throw them up river or creek when i do catch them because the dam wont let them go upstream so i just help them out

small flatheads dont know they are small so they may be attacking your bull heads and made them move.try fishing a little ways down stream and you should find them again.
