Anyone ever constructed a small koi pond for storing bait? mainly bluegills? I was looking for some tips on doing so. Also wonder about converting a pool pump into a pond pump. Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks!

I am looking to do the same thing. I was going to build a large one and make sure it has some shade as well.
Good luck and let us know what you come up with

my pool pump moves enough water that i am fairly certain i would not even need my air stones, i keep the return hose elevated a few inches off the water during the day and about 2 feet over the top at night when i remove the cover, jsut keep teh hoses and filters clean, i wash my filter out about every 2-3 days..takes maybe 5 minutes, koi pond would look a lot better than my horse torugh haha
