Hey guys i'm fishing a small pond tournament. The pond has a lot of pressure, and I was wondering if you guys had any advice? I'm going to be fishing for the big fish.

agreed and fresh bait will help. Herring are shad if you can get it fresh and big.

Shad and herring might work but I would use whatever baitfish is in the pond and thats more than likely bluegill. If you talkin about a p a y lake then you just have to get lucky because those ponds are tough.

If there are big flatheads known to be in there I would use a big lively bait......Try throwing out a nice 10-12" channel cat, you might be suprised....I like them better then bullheads
