Lots of holes are like that. There could be more fish in the same hole, they just aren't as active as the ones you catch right away. Try moving your bait around the outside edges of the hole and around any structure within the hole. Don't just let it sit in one spot all night. Good luck!!

also some areas are small and flatties don't like close quarters and competition, so a small hole might only hold one fish then need a break till another moves into the good spot, in this type of habitat a run and gun approach works well,hit the hole then move to the next and continue doing so fishing holes for like 30 minutes then move.
