i was wondering if this size bluegill is kinda small to use . i have been useing 4 to 5 inches i think . every now and then a palm sized gill. or maybe 6 inches long. i am yet to catch a flat yet . or have even a run . but the place i'm fishing . people have been catching them on creek chubs. i tried getting some today with no luck. but i did catch a bounch of these smaller gills . thought maybe my bait was to big . i have seen 7 and 9 pounders there . and have been told of 45 plus pounds there. but i thought even a small flatt head at say 5 pounds . could more then handle a bigger palm sized gill . or am i wrong
