slugs....

    i have actually collected and used slugs for catfishing in the river and had good results just not clean hands

    An old timer once told me that a slug is one of the best catfish baits you can use.

    The outside of my house gets them really bad and some Huge ones also in the summer. I've saved the big ones and used them for bait. Caught a few channels but not anything worthwhile. I've only tried them in lakes also, I'll try one of the local rivers with them this year when I get back able to fishing....That is if its not too cold for them to be out.....:confused2:

    seems like it should work. they put out that slime like crazy, must be a good scent trail.
