SLIKKS PB 50 POUNDS

    Nice. Looks like high 40's, low 50's. Dude, go to WalMart and get yourself a digital bathroom scale. Weigh yourself, then weigh yourself holding the fish and subtract the difference. It works very well and is less harmful on the fish than trying to hang it by its jaw.

    MAN HE PULLED LIKE HEL, TURNED HIM BACK BUT, UNFORTUNATLY IN A BIG CREEK, NEXT TIME ILL HAVE MY CAMERA, WE HAD NOTHING NO LIGHT PHONE CAMERA, JUST THE MOONLIGHT, , THEM WALMART SCALES ARENT RIGHT, IT WOULD READ DIFFERANT ALL THE TIME SO IM SAYING 50, 45, DONT REALY CARE BUT ITS BIG, GOT MORE PICS OF HIM COMING, I NEED TO BACK THEM ON DISK

    Get a measuring Tape, get a lenth and girth... there are charts and formulas that have shown to be pretty close to the mark.

    The Health Meter digital scales I have from WalMart are very accurate. Right in line with my Rapala digital fish scales. I use the bathroom scales for the ones over 50lb. You must have the scales placed on a flat surface though - they work well in my pontoon boat. The digital bathroom scales even work well with weighing smaller channels, right to the tenth of a pound and same as the fish scales. To each his own. Anyway, congrats on a dandy fish.

    Awesome fish Jake, just kiddin earlier. My PB Flathead was 45 lbs. and yours looks bigger. Id guess low 50's. Congrats. :big_smile:

    IT WAS ON BLUEGILL OF CORSE, AND YEA SCALES ARE NEVER THAT ACURAT I GOT ONE LAST FALL HALF THE SIZE THAT I WEGHD ON A BATHROOM SCALE AND SAID FORTY, THE ONE IN MY OLD AVATAR WEN MY HAIR WAS LONG, SO SIZE AND SCALES DECEVE YOU, I DONT EVEN WANT TO WEGH THEM ANY MORE, ITS REDICULAS, IM GONNA USE A BATHROOM SCALE FROM NOW ON

    Nice fish,,You need some 100lb digital scales, their on my list..just bought some 50lb scales but that ain'e going to be Hvy enough I can see that now..:smile2:
