Managed to break my streak of 7 consecutive skunkings earlier tonight. Caught a small channel (3lbs 14 oz) on cut shad in the Scioto River In Columbus. Managed to get a few pics. Looked like he had a fresh wound near his belly (possibly trying to get to a downed tree branch snag as i reeled him in).

Congrats on the cat Garrett. Things are starting to get better. Hopefully, this cold weather in the next few days don't mess things up....rollo

I couldn't hold on to him with one hand without the glove for a pic. Only had the 9 year old with me. Was trying to explain to him that he had to get ME,the fish and the spring fish off sign around my neck in the pic. I almost lost the fish once when he squirmed out of my hand and nearly made it to the water. I ended up having take a few pics myself anyway and i hate holding the Cam with slimy bloody hands!

PS - Those hot dogs you told me about don't work for crap!

Good job G! You MUST soak the hotdogs in Green Jell-o for them to be effective. Some folks never listen lol.
