I have been getting quite and few and have seen other people get alot.

There is a guy that fishes for them at the same place where I do and he prolly catches a hundred or so a week.

Do you catch them from the bank or in a boat?

I catch them from the bank.

There is a lock system that lets water underneath the levee where I fish. The skips can be hit and miss, some days you can catch one every cast and other days not a one. But all this week they have been there. I have been able to catch 2-4 in about 15 minutes which enough for me to fish there for the evening.

Baja, where is that spot at? I want to stock up now that my shad spot has run dry. I am thinking of getting out again on Sun night, and want to try a new hole some place.

Chris I catch em up there at the Melvin Price dam...I just haven't given it a try yet this year as the cats seem to be biting pretty good on the shad right now. I catch em right there at the dam from the bank...they're fun to catch too!!!

My skipjack spot is in New Madrid which would be about almost 3 hours for you to drive.

Yuck, too far for me to drag my boat. That would be one expensive bait run.

I might just learn how to actually throw my throw net, and stick with the shad. I will be doing that today.

Throwing a net's not that difficult, especially if I can do it. What sucks is when you find a log you didn't know was there and destroy the net like I did earlier :(
