Stopped by there yesterday on my to the TNR fishing with Griz and gang. The water is back down to normal pool. Caught over a dozen skippies from medium to large size in about 20 minutes. They were hitting on white curly tail jigs.

I just wish I had a place close to try for some:sad2:. But I have to order them in and they stick to me every time. Any where from 5.00 to 8.00 a piece:angry:, doesn't make the wife to happy fiftey bucks at a time:eek:oooh:.

Chris , have you tried our sponser Fish On Bait Company? They have the green label herring you can buy in bulk and might save a few bucks.

It would be well worth your time to go down and catch your own. It's a blast to catch 3-5 at one time when they're feeding on shad below the dams.
Those Kentucky boys will take care of you and make sure you've got plenty of bait.
