Anyone interested in a trip early Sunday morning down to Kentucky dam for some skip jack? I could fit 6-7 people in my truck and boat so the gas should be pretty reasonable. Let me know.

Jer your bringing the beer aren't you?

My though was this would be a good weekend to do this as there isn't going to be much fishing done around here with the high water.

Shane, we should be down in your neck of the woods. Have you heard of anyone getting any skippies in cumberland city?

I'm seriously thinking about packing the wife and kids up and heading down there tonight. Then we can fish for them in the morning. I think my kids would have such a blast catching them.

Cuz and I caught the heck out of the skippies, last Tuesday morning, right at first light. We were using great big sabiki's and were catching some pretty good ones too.

Willie, we used all we caught during the tournament. I bet we went through 50 skippies, 100 gizzard shad, and 100lbs of lead during the week we were there. Oh yeah, from what Steve says, skippies aren't worth a hoot on Truman anyway if that's what you were wanting them for.:wink:

I would not waste my time with skippies on Truman. Thats just my 2 cents worth. There great on the river but not here.
