I'd be interested in a trip but won't be able to make it anytime before Thanksgiving. After that I'm pretty open. Would that be too late in the season? I've never been and don't know much about it.

OK. Who is in on a December 4-5 trip (assuming we hear that they are still running). I'll be taking my boat and would have room for one or two others.

Being a detailed planner I'm guessing the trip would go something like this:

    1. Drive to KY
    2. Slay SkipJack
    3. Swill beer (after off the water of course)
    4. Crash at some sleazy looking flop house
    5. Drive to Stl

Hey Guys, I live in Clarksville, TN near Cumberland City Steam Plant. You can usually catch the skip all through the winter and into the spring. Jan and Feb are still great times if you cant go this early. Also you can catch shad along the wall out at the steam plant. I anyone need a dip basket just holler and you can borrow mine. Im not sure how getting shad is there in the STL area but if they are hard to get you might as well load up on them to. Also as an added bonus if you go in Dec thru Feb time when its really cold the rockfish are running there also.
