SkipJack or Goldeye

    I catch them on the upside of wing dykes with night crawler and bobber.

    i have about 6dozen skipjacks frozen now from 8inches up to 16 inches. and the gold eyes we call them mooneyes, when you freeze them they tend to musch up when you unthaw them, but if you take alittle salt and put on them then freeze them. after they unthaw they are not as muschy. much better to catch moonies when you go, i catch mine on mill worms about 5ft deep near locks and dams by the slow current. skip jacks like the more swift current
