I am going back to Cordell Hull Dam in the morning 9/26/09 and going to get my fill of them skippies, I have plenty of sabiki rigs if anyone would like to come out. I will be below the dam in a light blue Bass boat ( 14 footer). There will be two big guys in the boat not hard to miss.

unless you really want to use your boat, you can catch the skips all day long off the walkway!! they got a lil slow this past july- august but like you i was catching alot of them this past april, may!!

Well just got back from Cordell Hull, we faced the adverse elements and hauled in 400 of those skippies in. We tried from the bank first with no luck, so we launched my boat and was tearing em up just about 200 feet below the dam.
