Does anyone know how Skip Jacks are running below the
dams on the Tennessee River ?
There running good right now......below wilson,wheeler,and guntersville...
Can you catch big Skip Jacks easily or do
you have to work for them?
it might take you a few minutes to find them... a friend of mine went yesterday and had trouble below wheeler... only caught five or six...might be the cold front....
big ones are all there are except for up a guntersville dam....a small foley spoon on a Carolina rig seems to work the best.....
Cathooker and I caught 105 giant magnum skipjack below Wheeler on Thursday afternoon. We caught them in about 3 hours carolina rigging Foley spoons. Like fishing in a goldfish bowl but more fun.
Great updates, thanks for the post
Help out a poor TN reneck. What is a foley spoon?:embarassed:
