Just curious.I got some flathead spots where I get pretty decent numbers of fish out of. I have a few other spots I fish where the numbers aint so great, but I usually get 1 or 2 bigger flats. For the numbers spots I,m talking 5-15 lbs,for the bigger spots I,m talking 20 lbs and up.Which would you rather fish for?

I like to Catch Big ones to and A lot of them 10 to 15 at a time . You get a lot of meat out of 10 big Flatheads and three or four Blues. " CCC = Catch Clean Cook "

When it comes to flatheads, size does matter.

It depends on who I am fishing with. If I have someone that is not a catfisherman I will go for numders to keep them interested. If I am with my wife or son-in-law we go after size.

    Probably no logic to it....

Most of the time I like to target the bigger ones, but even then I'll probably throw something for the smaller ones, just to pass the time. Then there are times I don't really care, Just get my butt on the water and fish for the eaters. I can have just as much fun playing with them. I guess it depends on the mood I'm in

If I head for the blues, I'm looking for the pullage, being I'm most likely driving a couple hours. I can drive 20 minutes and be in the channels and carp and have fun. But I almost always have something in the boat for any occasion, just depends on what is biting.
