Has anyone noticed that channels(what I go for mostly) are taking bigger pieces of bait now. This spring, I had to use small pieces of bait to even get a bite. Last weekend, I tried a big chunk of liver and WAMO, they seemed to go after large chunks over the small ones. I don't think it had a chance to hit the bottom before they nailed it.

yes sir thats how you do it givem what they want,i dont know i tend to think when the water is colder they will hit on the smaller stuff but as the temps go up they start hitting the bigger pieces.now thats just my experience i dont know if theres any science or truth to it but that just seems how it works out for me.
