I want to start making my own sinker with a mold. Where is a good place to get a good mold at a good price?

I bought all mine from the DO-IT mold company. Some of the sponsors of this site also sell molds. I had bought all mine before I became a member of the BOC

Barlow Tackle and Catfish Connection also carry Do It Molds.

I just bought one from them not long ago. Great fast service, and I think it was actually cheaper than buying direct from Do-it.

I got my do-its off ebay when they were cheap, before all the dealers took over.
I have a mix of lead. battery lugs, wheels weights, solder, mostly anything I can find. Check your local scrap dealer.
Save the pure lead for small sinkers, split shots and pinch-ons.

I got lucky enough to find the cheapest place to buy Do-it- Molds, is local for me. Zeiners Has the best prices I've found anywhere online. Usually at least a couple of bucks cheaper.
