we need to do some pouring at the gathering. i never seen anyone make sinkers myself. as you all know i use those free "ghetto" sinkers. lol polecat got a new mold last year and he needs to break it in.

I have a mold for 1-2-3-4-5 oz bank sinkers and a jig mold.
Will try and locate some lead.

Ya any tire service repair will normally give them away... But small tire repair shops are the best... They will even call you up when they get a few buckets full!!

Is there any real difficulties to making sinkers? Westside has a fair deal on theirs, but knowing how to make my own would be nice.

Having a couple of extra hands would be nice next to keeping the lead hot. Lead only needs just a couple of seconds to set & ready for the next pour.

I have about every mold there is and plenty of lead. If you are at the show this weekend -- talk to me and maybe we can work something out.

yeah I seen that. looked like a good idea-I wonder how well it works.

Go thru a junk yard with cable cutters for lead battery cable ends-take wheel weight pliers and a sawzall for top post battery posts.
