Sinker bumpers

    I use a piece of airline tubing about one inc long between my sinker and swivel, seems to protect the knot and is really cheap to make.

    I have used both beads and plastic hose. Each works well.

    I use a Carolina keeper. Bass fisherman have been using these for years to keep the weight off their swivels on a Carolina rig. It is a small hard piece of plastic tubing with a split in the center. Using needle nose pliers, just pinch the tubing and insert your line. Your weight cannot move it because of friction. It also works well with braid.

    I,ve used beads for years,never had a problem yet.:wink:
