simple rig catfishing

    has anyone used a rig like this,,, its in the first half of the video and is pretty much like if i kooked a 3/4 ounce to a snap swivel

    i think i might try it cause it is real simple and versital :smile2:

    Yes I have in my earlier days of fishing. Not exactly like that but almost the same way. That reel looks familiar looks like my old Shimano 400S a cheap reel but reliable as heck.

    I use a rig pretty much like that, just a sinker on a snap swivel, I snap it on the line, I can add or remove weights quickly. its also a slip sinker that I can take on and off easily, depends on the wind at the lake, I don't need much weight, ain't no current, just wind.
