This is the only one I have of a carp. This isn't me but I did catch two. Actually I snagged them. Mine wasn't much bigger than this. They were caught using a Sassy Shad on Silver Creek in New Albany, Indiana.

Some carp we caught at the Junction Pond which is in the city limits. They were caught on Wheaties and the largest was 17 pounds. Lots of fun catching them and then we return them . Largest caught there is 33 pounds. Yes my wife caught the biggest.

This is the only one I think I have ever caught.

Caught it on a Looper Rig with Hog Wild Premo at Buckeye Lake 2 years ago.

It might have been. We caught a lot of differant fish that day. I just thought it was a carp because of the scales.

Check my pic. 16.5lb around 36". It was a blast pulling it in, I was putting a crawler on my other pole when I heard a little splash. I look over and I see my pole in the water. Those things will pull hard.

Anybody catch a carp on a fly rod? Just curious, cause in the spring they are all stacked up in the shallows feeding(tails up).

    Hey,
Here's an 8 lb carp I caught in the Great Miami River near Cincinnati last weekend. Should have cleaned some of the mud off him. Beautiful fish!

Here is a photo when I was very young. The place, Gavins Point Damm on the down side, the year, 1984. My grandfather took my here to fish, and I wish I could find the rest of the photos. I remember we caught about 24 carp that weekend.
