a freind and i decided to rip some lips on channels this afternoon, and boy did we rip them! below is a pic of the biggest of the day, not the biggest i have caught but a fine specimen nonetheless. we were having trouble hooking the fish at first but when we changed the "style" of hooks we were using we started burning them up! they seemed to be hitting everywhere in the river today, tried 4 different spots and ended up with about 25-30 fish. beleive it or not we got tired of catching them and left early. this picture will be my avatar soon! ...:D

Dink buddy it would prob be harder to catch a bunch of those than it would be to catch a bunch of 3-4 #'s.

Hey Dink, after my pond gets done in another month or so, we need to hit that spot again as those would be perfect stocking size!!
They are pretty fish when there small like that. I can picture you rearing back with your medium heavy rods and then having to go look through the weeds behind you to be able to release em:p

see next time im looking for cats for my lectures/speaking i should call you up and head out fishing where ever you were w/ you... also i keep having the problem of catching fish that are way too large for my fish tank to photograph... i can't catch any that are under 9 inches (atleast not channels.... bullheads i can) wish there was some way i could find them though...
