    Hey Guys,
Im really sold on the Shimano reels for Chunk and Wind, and was wondering if any of you ever used these for cats, looks like a great reel and I can pick them up for what a 7000 cost. What do you guys think have you ever used one?? High speed, power handle Shimano quality,, Only downfall I can see with them is no auto wind, but I grew up fishing the ocean so for me thats not a issue..
Im looking at the 14 ,
    Thanks for the input..

Yep they use them all over the east and west coast along with the AVETS,,nice reels if your like the non-level winds.

The way I look at it If they can drag bullet fast 80-140=lb tuna's and 40lb Roosters in to the boat ,a 100LB bluecat would be fun..

the 14 looks good but why not get the 16 for the same $$:cool2:

    Thanks for the input,
Not sure what the weight difference would be but the 14 is smaller, don't need that much like capacity so I figured I would save the weight,,, Puddle...:confused2:
