I just bought a shimano corvalus 400 baitcaster. Does anybody know or use one? It is a musky reel, has a power brake and casts pretty smooth. Iwill be testing it on the lake tomorrow. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Don't own one, but my reel mechanic says they are O.K. catfish reels. Of course, he likes Shmano, so there is a bit of pregudice. He prefers the TR 200-G by Shimano. I've one. Its a great casting reel, but you do have to educate your thumb. Good drag and not too expensive, paid $60 at Bass Pro.
