I stripped my baitrunner and Im swondering what grease do you use for the reel? the usual red grease that i use is thick.
I was thinking of using a thinner black grease for smoothness or should i stay with the red for more protection. what grease do u use or even thick oils? thanks!

is that a grease or oil? would it work on the main gear?

Wayne its an oil that has powdered teflon in it. works better than grease.

i haven't had to service my shimano 4500 baitrunner yet, but have use reel magic on some of my other reels, the shimano's are nice cause the drag systems are waterproof, i'd go with reel magic or hot sauce
