I was just wondering if anyone else fishes for sharks in North Carolina. We have a beach house in Emerald Isle and i do a lot of fishing. I catch Bluefish during the morning and day, then use them for bait at night. I dont have the pic my buddy Will does he lives in Jacksonville, its a 11 footer we hooked at about 10:30 and fought it until about 1:30 am. It was huge it took us all over the pier and it took 3 of us to lift it up to throw it back.

I love to shark fish. I fish here on the Georgia coast at Jekyll Island or St. Simons Island. I want to see the pic of the big shark when you get a copy of it. Were those sharpnoses that you were showing in your pics?

I fish for sharks ALL the time at the Outer Banks.....As well as fishing for every other big fish there. Mostly have lost the biggest sharks right at the pier....it's hard to land them. But have caught many 4-5 footers....and lost alot over 7 ft.

    Good luck, Zakk :)
