    Nice tarpon.

    Better hammerhead.

    I would have been chunking some cut tarpon and hooking the hammerhead.

    There is an article in one of the saltwater mags I read about the new world record hammerhead. It dragged the 24'-0" center console boat 12 miles out into the ocean after they hooked up.

    yeah I think the guy should have jumped in on it's back or something because that was a nice tarpoon..oh I guess it could be that the shark has such large teeth:smile2:

    That is too cool!!! Thanks for that. Those guys walking around the edge of that boat are crazy! I'd been afraid to fall in with those sharks around. I know he hated to lose that tarpon!!

    Thanks for sharing Patrick....I was fishing down in Boca Grande Pass a few years ago and lost a decent tarpon in the same fashion, except the thief was a bull shark. No fun to lose your fish after battling for nearly an hour but it made for an interesting ending to the day...
