We 2 adults and 2 young kids made another trip to Canyon lake last night. This is our third early evening to 9PM trip in the last 10days. At dusk we started in on making a few meals. Using inflated nightcrawlers and dip bait, Bowkers, each night we caught enough Channels to create two suppers each trip. Not one fish larger than 4lb.s with many many runts about 5" long. All told we caught 12-20 fish each night, runts notwithstanding. Last night we fished shallow water at the east end of the lake. As soon as the horizon went dark we started catching fish two, three at a time. There was just two of us. Just a hint as to where there are some supper fish to be caught. Good fortune to you folks
