I'm sure guys have all heard about the pros using the shaky head set up which is the big thing this year, so I had to try it out. I caught 17 smallies on Tuesday all on the shaky head and absolutely demolished my partner who was throwing a smoke tender tube (my all time favorite smallie bait). You guys have to throw this setup it is killer. Biggest fish was 3 1/4 which is respectable for the water I was fishing. He absolutely demolished this bait and was hooked deep. I was fishing a zoom ring worm on a 1/4 ounce round head jig (unpainted). If you haven't heard about it you basically texas rig a straight tail worm with a lead head jig leaving the hook point buried in the bait.
