    I like them. Not as smooth as a high dollar reel, but they get the job done. I have 8 of them that I have been using for 2 years

    I caught one of them the other night flathead fishing. seems someone used a big bait and didnt watch it close enough. It hadn't been in the water very long. the pole had a broken tip. I tossed it back in. LOL

    I purchased a tidewater this year for my extra rod, I snagged a 34lb spoonbill with it the first trip. The next trip I hooked a 22lber and before I got him on bank the housing had snapped in half. I recomend purchasing the Shakespeare Alpha instead of the tidewater. I bought a alpha years ago for the same price, and have caught big fish with it to this day.

    bypass the tidewater and get the Arsenal HD, they are very stout with alot of upgraded features, have personally caught a 66 with one and my buddy has caught 2 80s and a 70 with them
