These reels have been discontinued but if you run across one I highly recommend picking it up.
I am a big fan of Shakespeare but when I got this reel in the mail this morning I was realy suprised how well built it is.

The model I have is a TWS70FL it has the adjustable baitrunner feature + a front drag setup.

Does anyone have any experience with the regular Tidewater Baitcasting series from Shakespeare ?

one of my setups is a tidewater tsw60br sitting on a 7ft bigwater ugley. It works great. love that bait runner ajustment. I have cought up to 5ft sharks in the gulf, and so far a 71/2 lb cat. looking forward to hooking some bigger cats this year with it.
    casts great too.
