Shakespeare tidewater 50A baitcast

    do you think this is two big for normal catfishing use?
    holds 330 yards of 30 lb mono

    also has anyone ever used one and are they decent reels i have a 30lcl and i like it.

    well i ended up getting the tidewater 50A off ebay for 21 bucks
    i figured it was a steal for such a big traditional casting reel. bought my tidewater30 for 40 bucks and this holds about 1/3 more line
    i guess after a couple hundred yards it wont matter much in freshwater fishing but oh well
    maybe a snagging reel in the spring

    is the 50 the one they sell at walmart? but i know my friend has the T20 and it is fantastic. wherever we go, its always by his side. but im not sure about the 50. but you could give it a shot.

    i dont know for sure but at my walmart they dont
    i dont think they make them anymore
    they are not on the shakespeare website and i cant find too much info ill have to wait and see what its like

    sorry dude but all the shakespeare website says is it only goes up to the T30LA

    I dont think the reel is to big, if u is going to catch big cats.
