shad?

    Right now is a good time to catch them!! Or even when its cold as long as you can find a warm water discharge!

    to me,i always thought it easier to catch them in the spring when they are going up the creeks to spawn.
    i never have as good luck as after the spawn,unless they are beating the banks.seems they are more out in deeper water.

    This past year while duck hunting, we found a warm water discharge that was loaded with them. So, we went back in Feburary and loaded the freezer. We probably caught 150 of them.
