SHAD

    Is any catching any shad right now at Smithville lake?

    Tom: I was on Smithville yesterday, threw the net for probably a couple of hours, got one shad, it was pretty deep. don't know, seems like you should be able to find them. May be the muddy water, every where I have been lately it is muddy. had some frozen shad, night crawlers and punch bait and had a couple of bites but no takers. water is warming up tho so maybe before too long.:confused2:

    Go to blue springs lake and try by the bridge you will get all you want early morning or late right at dark

    All the water down around Richmond is all up where I usually get my shad. Havine trouble finding any:angry:. But thanks for the info. Going to Osceola on May 2 to do a couple days of fishing. Hope I can find some down there.
