A few months ago I read a post about someones buddy who came up with an additive to put in a livewell that kept shad alive all day. The guy was a tournament fisherman and now i cant find the post. I really want to see what it was and how to get some. If anyone remembers the post or finds it please let me know.

I just ordered some. In your search function (I used MSN) type in shad baitwell. I think it is called keep alive? They have tanks to 30 gallon and all the chemicals too.

    Good Luck

Use 1/3 cup of non-iodized salt per five gallons of water. 30 gallon bait tank would need 2 cups.
