I use a very small Playmate cooler, fill it about 2/3 full of water and put the whole thing in the freezer. Then throw my bait in it when I am going fishing. It stays very cold and will have ice in it all day. I also wet down a white bath towel and drape it over the cooler. When it starts to dry out, I dunk it in the lake again. This helps a lot!
