Just thought I let you all know that the Bosher's shad cam is back on for 09. Haven't seen much yet but tha water is super clear. If you missed it last year or have never seen it there are some really neat times to watch. When the shad start coming through in giant schools along with eels. Heres the link (http://www.dgif.virginia.gov/fishing/shadcam/pop.asp?pop=3).

    Later,
    Chris

:0a28:Yes, I think the shad have gotten camera shy, what is the best time to catch these elusive little critters? or is it just a hit and miss thing? I've visited the site about 100 X's and have'nt seen a thing!:dribble:

Last year about this time it was hit and miss but come May when thhe water temp. comes up there will lots of movement. But don't hold me to it as my prediction is coming from KS:smile2: ,so maybe some of are BOC members from from that area will chime in and let us know when to start watching.

Is the shad cam stuck or is it just the clock that is off?

yep. It does that once in a while. When they figure it out they reset it or what ever it takes to get it going again.
