Shad and gills in one tank?

    has anybody had problems with trying to keep both in one bait tank?

    Shouldn't be a problem.

    Shad won't last more than a couple of days in most tanks, whether they're with bluegills or not. You could easily keep bluegills alive for a few weeks if you were careful; I don't know of anybody that could do that with shad.

    as long as you keep water clean and aerated you should be okay dont use town water because of the chemicals good luck

    I had Google eye and War mouths in with a bunch of shad.. They ate all the small shad :lol:

    Actually grabbed one to hook up and noticed the tail of one of the shad sticking out of its mouth heheh...
