Setting troline in deep ohio river

    Any ideas on setting in the deep water. It is much more difficuilt than setting in a smaller shallower river.

    You can either use a large weight on one end and sink it with one end tied off to the bank and the other to the weight or you can have both ends tied off to the bank with weights on each end just befor the start of the nibs. This way requires a lot of slack in the main line though. It also helps to know the dept of the place your setting it as well.

    There is usualy a so many feet from dam regulation for trout line's ,net's and jug's. Make sure to check your area reg's.
