Setting the hook .

    I was fishing below Carlyle spillway yesterday and had a bite that had my pole bent , when I went to set the hook my line hit an asain carp . I seen it raise the fish out of the water , as it did it cut my line somehow . I have brand new power pro on it 50 pound test . Unbeleivable ....lol

    Those stupid carp have made it up to the Louisville area.The co's have been telling people to leave them on the banks.sad thing is the one that have been snagged and caught have been from 15 to on caught last night that was almost 50 pounds. The guys let them go back only to be informed that the state wants them dead.Bad thing is if they leave em on the banks there might be a stink factor going on.

    Thats how it is here also and with everyone throwing them on the bank the smell could gag a maggot . You can see hundreds of them swimming around everywhere below the spillway .
