The catfish are hanging tough on Chickamauga Lake near Chattanooga, TN. A few folks are catching some really big fish. Personally my big fish bite has been off, but what we're lacking in size, we're making up for in numbers. Been catching 20 - 40 fish a day... most from 3 up to 10 pounds. And there's enough 10-to-20 pound fish thrown in there for the occasional kicker to make things real interesting. The fishing in the Chickamauga Dam tailwaters is still weak, but should pick up as the water temps cool. The majority of action has been up in the lake. It's almost standing-room-only around the Sequoyah Nuclear Plant on Saturday and Sunday mornings. Photos are just a few of the folks who've fished with Scenic City Fishing Charters recently.
