Any advice for catching cats in the cooler weather this weekend. I am going out to a nearby strip pit.

    Thanks

What about how cool it is. Do you think it will hurt or help the bite?

Can't really see cold fronts hurting the fishing right now. The water's still warm. If you're heading to the trout pit, use trout guts and their head. Fish off the dock and you should do good. Any other pit, I'd go with a gut of some sort or worms. I don't mess with live bait in the pits, since there's only channels stocked in most of them.
