I will have an afternoon to fish this weekend while visiting Sedona and I'm not interested with trout so I figured Oak Creek would not be worthwhile. Any advice with a favorable spot is appreciated. Im willing to drive less than thirty minutes since I only have a half day to do so. Thanks

Make sure you buy your effing red rock pass. Dont forget to get your palm read or a custom tinfoil helmet made while youre out there.

Try and get access to the Verde River,,,, there's several points you can get close around the Verde Valley.. I've not had any luck in the past few months, with any type of fish there..
Deadhorse state park in Cottonwood may produce a bit for you...
    But, good luck,,
