I've been thinking about using the Food Saver and vacuum sealing some whole bluegill, for cut bait in the future. Has anyone tried it? If so, were you successful with it??

Yes, you can seal whole shad and gills, it works great. You have to clip the horns if you want to do the same with catfish.
