Do I need BOTH to keep things RIGHT with all the ethnol?
Will a fuel/water seperator be a good idea to install???

I dont know if you NEED both, but i used both this winter and up until a couple weeks ago was still running gas from October (with no issues) so i will continue to use both. Yes, a water separating filter is a good idea, and as far as i know, most motor gurus are recommending them.

I run Stabil ethanol formula all of the time. I will run sea foam about twice a year just to clean things up. I run the boat 3 to 5 times a week so my fuel never gets old, but the ethanol will wreak havoc on your lines and stuff. That is why I run the Stabil all of the time. I have a 47 gallon fuel tank so a water seperator is a must, condensation happens way more in a half full big tank than the small tanks. With boats that I have had with smaller tanks I didnt run a water seperator.
