We usually take the boat down for red white and boom and do a little fishing during the day. I have never had any luck south of downtown, but above greenlawn dam. Last year we caught one channel cat. If you have a depth finder, it really looks like an awesome place to fish, but we just can't get on them down there. The 1st lowhead dam above greenlawn dam would probably hold some good fish, but we can never get close enough due to police patrols during red white and boom.

That is not that far, just give me a hollar and we can hit the lakes or rivers for some cats.

I have fished there alot, I live in hilliard. It is not the greatest place, very overfished. I have only caught a few channel in that area and all were very small.

    Hey Tea,

Remember the night we fished that first lowhead dam above Greenlawn, and that guy we saw walking across the train bridge, LOL!

No cats, but lots of floating foam stuff, and a strange odor. It might hold cats when the water is high, but then I don't think you could fish it, except from the sidewalk that is nearby.
